Listen to the Call

We create our realities. Whether you do so consciously or not is up to you. The bottom line is that you are fully responsible for your life.

Weirdly, we all have that voice inside of us that pops up from time to time. The one that questions our future, judges our behavior, directs us, warns us, and sometimes haunts us- our conscious. The intentional creation of your life relies on your ability to listen to that voice. How we get to that goal or dream isn't up to us, neither is the time in which we do so but listening and sharing the driver's seat with that voice gets us there faster.

It starts with The Ask; our Ask is usually in the form of a goal or a dream. Most Ask's die shortly after because of our inability to believe.

After the Ask, then comes The Call. That urge to act in favor of our Ask is The Call.

The Call comes bearing Assignments sometimes disguised as disruptions in our life. Assignments are to prepare you.

Think of this as a road trip. The Ask is our destination, The Call is the directions, and Assignments are the pit stops. The very act of listening and executing is Obedience; this is where having faith becomes essential. In the waiting period between The Ask and The Call, we are responsible to create an emotional connection with this goal; believing that it is already ours- Faith. When we hear that Call we have to prepare for the assignment; we do so by taking the next best step. Doing whatever we can to educate or elevate ourselves. That can be in the form of reading a book or signing up for a webinar, eating healthier, decluttering your home, networking with others, etc. No excuses, find the next best thing.

I operate in a state of preparation and walk into my assignments unknowingly. I usually identify my Assignments at the end when I get a new Call. My new Call has always come in the form of unrequited disruptions. These disruptions are usually external and may leave you asking, "Why me?". I've learned that the turmoil isn't happening to me, it's happening for me. The interference signifies a change in direction and a new assignment. I've struggled with this and found that the key is stillness- Gratefulness is the antidote.

You won't get to your destination by wishing and dreaming; you have to work. I write to serve you with what I know to be true through my experiences. I urge you to Live Intentionally.

Ask, Believe, Listen, and Receive.

"A man's heart diviseth his way but the Lord directs his steps."

-Proverbs 16:9

"Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."

- Mark 11:24
